Our Staff

Chad Belger Executive Director

Chad is the founder of Comeback Recovery Homes, a Recovery RX Corp initiative for sober living. He is an Army veteran, firefighter of 20 years, fire instructor, and CrossFit coach. Chad found that a big part of him reaching sobriety was with the time and tribe he found in the gym, and the time he took in sober living. His dedication to helping others through their own struggles with addiction has become his life’s work. He is an open book to anyone who asks because he hopes his experiences can help get someone on the track to regaining control of their own life.

Shawne Scott Media and Marketing Manager

Shawne is responsible for advancing the mission and visibility of the Recovery RX and Comeback Recovery Homes organizations through strategic communication, storytelling, and outreach efforts.

Behind Shawne’s career is a personal story rooted in resilience, faith, and deep community ties. Her father, a single parent, third-shift newspaper carrier, and proud constable for York County, SC, was tragically killed in a random act of violence in 2017. His life of quiet service and strength inspires Shawne daily to carry forward a mission greater than herself. In her grief, she found unexpected purpose and community, leading her to ruck 100 miles with the End of Watch Foundation in his memory and to dedicate her life to serving others.

With a strong background in fitness and a heart anchored in faith, Shawne believes there is always room for “one more” to find hope and healing. She brings warmth, empathy, and genuine connection to everything she does. At Recovery RX and Comeback Recovery Homes, Shawne uses storytelling and events to build community, inspire courage, and support individuals on their recovery journeys, reminding everyone that no one walks alone and every step forward matters.
