This is my first Sober Living Home. I knew that isolation was a contributing factor to my relapse, so I called Comeback as sober living seemed to be what I needed – a safe place to land while I re-built my life.

I spoke to Pam and told her about myself, my story and my concerns. She was able to explain the Comeback Program in detail. I felt welcomed from the start. Pam set-up an interview with the Comeback Staff and Management that same day. She called me back a few hours later and said that I was accepted into the house and suggested I come that evening. I quickly packed a few bags and was at the house by 5:00 p.m.

Everyone is encouraged to support everyone else’s recovery. The sense of community, “family,” is enhanced with Pickleball, Disc Golf, and Sober Saturday events like CrossFit, yoga, trips to the beach, etc. The overall program at Comeback Recovery is unique, and, well, it works!

Well for starters I can honestly say I don’t think I would even still be here alive to write a review had I not found this place. I was heading down the path that leads to death for sure and needed a change fast. I wasn’t new to the sober living environment so I kind of had a good idea what to expect when planning to come here. I have been to about 5 other sober living homes and not one could even begin to compare.

From the moment I got here I knew God still definitely had my back. I got here beat down and busted and these guys helped me out with everything I needed, from my medication to hygiene supplies. We go play pickleball and workout. I was very lost when I got here and very weak and tired and beat down from addiction and now I am living my life again, not just existing.

Just less than a year ago I used to be the guy that needed the handout and now I’m able to help someone else out and it really feels good. If you truly care about getting clean and living a better life, this is the place to do it! These guys genuinely care about you getting back to being a good human again, and God definitely has this place in His hands.

Comeback Recovery Homes has been an amazing place to help with growing into my new life of recovery. All of the people involved are very supportive, loving, and generally wonderful people who truly care about your recovery. You’re treated as family. 

Super amazing and they’re very loving and caring. I most appreciated how welcoming it is when you first get here. 

Chad and Meredith found me in the lowest point of my life. I had all but given up. They were patient, understanding and committed to helping me build a solid foundation and get back on my feet.
